Wood wicks require more care. Here are some tips to taking care of your candle:
1. Always trim your wick before each use, remove all charred woods from previous lits- if not removed, the wick will extinguish itself :( We suggest using a wick trimmer!
2. Allow the wax to melt across the entire diameter of your candle on the first burn- this will help prevent tunneling, which decides how well your candle will burn.

Will the beads melt?
We use glass beads, so they should not melt.
Do I remove the beads?
Yes! Remove the beads with tweezers, once the message is revealed, for candle safety.
